How to setup nameservers on my VPS

In order to setup the Nameservers of your VPS for your domain you have to follow the below mentioned steps where your VPS is using the control panel as a SolidCP.

Step 1. Go to your domain control panel and under the DNS settings update your VPS childnameserver that process is different-different as per the domain providers tools settings. You have to use the Child-Nameserver as mentioned below.

ns1.IP Address of your VPS.
ns2.IP Address of your VPS.

Note: If your VPS has Two IP address and you have set the both IP address to use for your DNS server then you can use the both IP address one with “ns1” and other with the “ns2”.

Step 2. After Updating the Child-Nameservers of your domain you have to update your domain Nameserver that you can use as per your requirement but best practice is to use as mentioned below.

ns1.domain.com
ns2.domain.com

Note: You have to replce the “domain.com” with your actual domain name for which you are going to change the Nameserevrs.

Step 3. After changing the Nameservers you can verify the same using the below URL and you can manage your domain DNS from your VPS control Panel. after Nameservers changed.

Step 1. Go to your domain control panel and under the DNS settings update your VPS childnameserver that process is different-different as per the domain providers tools settings. You have to use the Child-Nameserver as mentioned below.

ns1.IP Address of your VPS.
ns2.IP Address of your VPS.

Note: If your VPS has Two IP address and you have set the both IP address to use for your DNS server then you can use the both IP address one with “ns1” and other with the “ns2”.
